› Dehradun is our main base for the Heli-tours. It is the starting & ending point.

› Passengers are picked up from Dehradun Airport/railway station/bus stand. Please note, arrival details must be provided to Uttarakhand Trips at the time of booking.
› Passengers should try to reach Dehradun by 02:00 pm, or earlier, so that they are completely ready to start their Chardham journey the next day early morning.
› In the evening, our team will be doing the tour briefing to the passengers, & provide them duffel bags for carrying only necessary things on the trip – Up to 5 kg/person will be permitted.
Day 02: Yamunotri Dham
06:30 AM – Check out from Dehradun hotel
07:30 AM – ETD from Sahastradhara Helidrome
08:00 AM – ETA at Kharsali Helipad
› This is the starting day of the Chardham yatra. Passengers will check-out from the hotel at 06:30 am, after an early morning breakfast. They will be picked-up from the Hotel by our team & taken to Sahastradhara Helidrome.
› After reaching the hotel, the passengers will be taken for darshan as soon as possible, to avoid the yatra rush.
Approximate time taken for Yamunotri Temple Darshan: Approximately 05hrs 30mins (round-trip). Yamunotri trek is 06 km one-way.
Sightseeing at Kharsali: Hot Spring at Yamunotri Temple, Yamuna Mata Temple, and Shani Temple.
Day 03: Gangotri Dham
08:00 AM – ETD from Kharsali Helipad
08:30 AM – ETA at Harsil/Jhalla Helipad
› After breakfast, passengers will check-out by 0730 hrs.
› Arrival at Jhalla helipad will at 0830 Hrs.
Jhalla – After landing at Jhalla, passengers will be taken to Harsil village & checked-in the hotel.
Harsil – The second destination of our tour, also known for the abundant apple orchards there, is the most scenic and beautiful destination of this tour.
› Passengers will be taken for Gangotri Dham darshan before or after lunch – Depending on rush.
Approximate Time taken for Gangotri Temple Darshan: 3hrs 30 mins (round-trip). The road distance to Gangotri temple is approx. 25 km, which is roughly a 50-minute drive.
Sightseeing at Harsil: Bagodi Village / Ancient Laxmi Narayan Temple in Harsil. Other than this, Harsil also has many nearby nature-walks to explore.
Day 04: Kedarnath Dham
08:30 AM – ETD from Harsil/Jhalla Helipad
09:00 AM – ETA at Sersi Heli-Base
› After breakfast, passengers will check-out by 0730 hrs.
› Arrival at Sersi Heli-base will be at 0900 Hrs.
Approximate time taken for Kedarnath Temple Darshan: 02 hours. The shuttle services flight Sersi to Kedarnath is apporx. 07 minutes long.
Sightseeing at Sersi: Triyuginarayan Temple – It is the venue of the celestial marriage of Lord Shiva & Goddess Parvati. (Subject to weather and road traffic conditions).
Day 05: Badrinath Dham
06:00 AM – ETD from Sersi Heli-Base
06:30 AM – ETA at Badrinath Helipad
› Passengers will check-out by 0500/0530 Hrs.
› Arrival at Badrinath will be 0630 hrs.
› Passeneger will first check-in to the hotel and have breakfast. Darshan and sight-seeing will be done after breakfast or lunch – Depending on rush.
Approximate time taken for Badrinath Temple Darshan: Approx. 01-1.5 Hrs. Passengers will be taken from hotel to the temple by car.
Sightseeing at Badrinath: Mana Village – Known as the ‘First village of India’, due to its proximity to the China border.
Aarti / special pooja at Badrinath Temple – Swaran/Chandi Aarti (on an additional direct payment basis at Badrinath), with extra vehicle charges.
Day 06: Return To Dehradun
06:30 AM – ETD from Badrinath Helipad
07:30 AM – ETA at Sahastradhara Helidrome
› Passengers will check-out by 0530/0545 Hrs.
› On arrival, our team will receive the passengers.
› Then passengers will be taken to the Dehradun hotel to collect their luggage from cloak rooms, and then have breakfast.
› Later they’ll be dropped at the airport/railway station, where we bid farewell to the passengers.
Seating Capacity: Helicopter seats 6 passengers.
Weight Limit: Max helicopter weight is 450 kg (excluding baggage). Passengers must provide accurate weights at booking. Exceeding the weight limit may result in deboarding without a refund.
Overweight Charges: INR 2,000/kg applies to passengers over 75 kg. Excess weight is calculated on the total group weight. Discrepancies will be charged before boarding.
Arrival Date: Report to Dehradun one day before the flying date. Chardham Heli-tour is 5N/6D.
Weather & Force Majeure: Flying is subject to weather and other factors like Air Traffic Clearances, VVIP movements, and technical issues. Be prepared for delays or cancellations.
ID Requirements: AADHAR for Indian passengers, passport for foreign nationals.
Extra Day: Keep an additional day at the end of the tour in case of delays due to weather or other factors.
Add-On Services: Extra services not included in the package are chargeable and must be confirmed at booking.
Kedarnath Accommodation: Can be booked, but overnight stays are not advised due to altitude sickness and lack of facilities. Price on request.
Medical Emergencies: Passengers are advised to get a medical check-up before the yatra. Medical evacuation by helicopter is chargeable at INR 1,20,000/hr + additional charges.
Rescheduling: Rescheduling is subject to availability and a 10% fee if done at least 28 days before the travel date. Less than 28 days’ notice will be treated as a cancellation.
Refunds for Bad Weather/Force Majeure: Refunds are provided based on the uncovered Dham. Full tour cancellation will incur INR 30,000 in charges. COVID-related cancellations receive a credit voucher valid for one year.
Cancellation Due to Weather: If the flight is delayed or cancelled due to weather or other reasons beyond control, refunds will be provided as per policy. No compensation for additional expenses like accommodation or meals.
Tour Disruption: If the tour is disrupted after departure, a revised itinerary will be proposed. Extensions are at extra cost. If no flying occurs for 5 straight days, a full refund will be issued.
Priority: New Chardham passengers will have priority over previous day’s backlog.
Kedarnath Weather: If stranded due to weather, accommodation charges are the passenger’s responsibility.
Extra Helicopter Flying: Chargeable at INR 1,20,000/hr + additional charges.
Turbulent Conditions: Flying to Harsil/Jhalla may be skipped due to turbulent winds common after 12:00 PM.
Mid-Tour Cancellation: If a group cancels mid-tour, transportation will be arranged, but at the passenger’s expense.
Tax Increases: Any post-booking government tax increases will be charged to passengers before the tour starts.
